Hello! We are Salmon, a rapidly growing fintech startup founded in 2022 by former top executives from Tinkoff Bank: Pavel Fedorov, George Chesakov, and Raffy Montemayor. 

Recently, we expanded our capabilities by acquiring a 59.7% stake in the Rural Bank of Sta. Rosa (Laguna), a financial institution established in 1963. This acquisition enables us to offer a full range of banking services, including accepting deposits, issuing debit and credit cards, and providing financing to small and medium-sized enterprises. 

Over the past years, we have secured more than $60 million in investments, including a $16 million seed round and a $20 million debt facility from Argentem Creek Partners. 

Our goal is to become a leading fintech company in Southeast Asia within the next 3–5 years. To achieve this, we are seeking a talented Senior Product Mobile Designer to join our team of professionals. What you will need to do:

• Change the habits of Filipinos
• Create stunning mobile app mockups in Figma that will have off the charts conversion rates and dopamine levels so high that it will have at least a 4.9 rating in the stores.
• Work in a product team with product owners, product managers, analysts, developers, testers and others
• Work within our design system alongside other designers and help develop it.
• Be responsible for the visual design of mobile applications
• Develop an attractive and intuitive interface for mobile platforms (iOS and Android), ensuring a consistent style and brand identity
• Conduct design reviews, provide support during the implementation of design solutions by developers

You will need to communicate a lot with customers, work with designers and the entire product team to develop user scenarios, write specifications and set tasks for developers, coordinate the development and testing process, and help solve problems.

You are the ideal candidate if:

• You have worked in a startup of 100-200 people.
• You have worked on and created financial products and have experience as a product designer with a focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Have a deep understanding of usability principles, UX/UI design and the latest trends in mobile development.
• You know how to work with micro-animations in mobile apps and own any available tool for creating such animations for iOS/Android (lottie, Rive, AF)
• Know the basics of mobile app development and technical constraints to create realistic design concepts.
